Material poverty results in psychological poverty,it results in cycle of the intergenerational transmission of poverty and needs to be eliminated.It is necessary and pressing for needy female college students to alleviate poverty psychologically.Colleges can show care for needy female college students in terms of enhancing metacognitive ability,establishing psychological prevention network,group counseling,and promoting work of party,regiment and community.
