On the Application of Discourse Analysis in the Teaching of College English Reading

阅读是大学英语教学的重点之一,学生英语阅读能力的培养是外语教学的重要内容。语篇分析理论在指导英语阅读教学方面具有重要作用,从语篇分析理论出发,对学生阅读教学中普遍存在的一些困难进行分析,阐述了语篇分析理论在英语教学中的应用,并就如何运用语篇分析理论进行阅读教学提出了建议。

Reading, as an important part in College English teaching, focuses on the training of students＂ reading ability in fact. Discourse analysis is an important theory to guide the teaching of College English Reading. The difficulties in college English reading are elaborated, so do the theory of Discourse Analysis and the application of DA in the teaching of College English Reading. Some suggestions are tentatively purposed on College English Reading.
