文言文的外译模式探讨

Exploration on the Inter-lingual Translation Model of Writings in Classical Chinese

我国古代人民创作了很多经典名篇,是中华民族的宝贵精神财富,也是值得向世界传播的文化珍品。但是由于汉语言文字的特殊性,古文的对外翻译始终是一个难题。以英语为例,探讨了文言文的对外翻译原则、评价标准及评价主体,并结合文言文的特征提出了一个翻译模式,以促进我国古代文学的对外翻译与传播。

The ancient Chinese people have created many famous classic works which are Chinese people＇s spiritual treasure and worth spreading around the world. Nevertheless, due to their special characteristics in the way of expression, the translation of these classical works poses a difficult problem. By taking English as an example, the inter-lingual translation principles, evaluation standards and evaluation subjects for translating the writings in classical Chinese are discussed. Lastly, a translation model is put forward according to the special characteristics of classical Chinese, aiming at promoting the translation and spreading of more classical works.
