摘要
语言是人类用来交际的工具,语言与文化是不可分割的。语言中的词汇受文化的影响最大,而习语是词汇的重要组成部分,它能清楚地反映民族文化的特色。试以体育和娱乐为视角,探讨英语习语中的英美文化内涵。
Language is used as a tool for communication.Language cannot be separated from culture.The words are deeply influenced by the culture.The idiom is one of the important parts of the words and they can reflect the characteristics of the culture.The author studies the cultural connotations of English idioms from the point of view of PE and entertainment in this paper.
