A Discussion on Language Information Space

语言是人们进行社会交际,传递社会信息的主要工具,言语交际过程其实就是信息传递的过程。信息传递过程并不是孤立进行的,要受到主客观多方面因素的影响,这种影响信息传递的各种条件和因素的总和,就是语言信息空间。信息空间内诸多因素必须协调一致,信息活动才能成功。因此在交际活动中,必须尽量周全地考虑到所有相关因素,使交际成功进行。

Language is a tool of communication and information transmission.The language communication is by nature a kind of information transmission whose process is affected by many factors defined as information space.Successful information transmission occurs only when all the factors are in good coordination.In communication all such factors must be taken into careful consideration.
