Hunan,will be the next growth pole in China paper industry?

湖南，在历史上的名气不小；湖南人的心气也不小。湖南造纸业在历史上也很悠久，造纸术发明者蔡伦的故乡就在湖南的湘江河畔。新中国成立以前，湖南造纸业以手工纸为主。建国后，造纸业也一直是湖南的传统重要行业之一，尤其是湖南丰富的木材和水资源，成为支撑湖南纸业发展的重要因素。然而，站在“十二五”的起跑线上，敢为人先的湖南人却面临着屈居人后的尴尬，湖南纸业主要经济指标多年来增长缓慢，与山东、江苏、浙江、广东等东部沿海造纸大省相比存在较大差距。

On the starting line of the twelfth five-year plan,Hunan paper industry takes a back seat to Guangdong province due to years of slow growth of main economy index in paper industry,so there is a long way for Hunan paper industry to catch with Shandong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong.However,as important provinces in midland of China,there has been a significant gap between Hunan and Henan province.In that case,maybe 'arise' is the most proper word to express the heartfelt wishes of Hunan pepole in paper industry.
