Factors that Affect the Self-study of Non-English Major

自主学习作为一种新型的教学理念,已经成为我国大学英语教学改革的主流思想。尽管很多高校在这方面都做出了大胆的尝试,并取得了不错的成绩,但是目前非英语专业学生英语自主学习能力的培养还受到很多因素的制约,使得学生英语学习自主性得不到最大限度地提高。本文主要通过整理和研究自主学习的定义,分析影响我国非英语专业大学生英语自主学习的主要因素,为进一步研究我国非英语专业大学生的英语自主学习提供依据。

Self-study,as a new teaching idea,has become the main tendency in the reform of college English teaching.Although many universities have tried much in this aspect and have achieved a lot,the self-study ability of non-English majors are still limited by many factors which have hindered the students＇ English self-study.The thesis explores those factors from the analysis of the definition for self-study so as to offer proof to the research of the English learning of non-English majors.
