This thesis introduces the implication and importance of cultural context and elaborates the impact on the translation of English words the cultural context has from the following aspects：history,geography,custom and religion,etc.During the process of translating,translators must have an understanding of cultural connotation and its reflect on the text structure in order to make the translation faithful to the source language.
