At present, it is a common tendency to usealternative fuels in cement industry, but the correspondent problems of environmental contamination and/orsecondary atmospheric pollution must be solved simultaneously. Gore Co. Ltd. has put forward a new catalytic filtration system named Remedia(r), which can remove dioxins and furans (PCDD/F) within industrial smoke. Using this system, it is only needed to change filtration bags instead of any other equipment reformations. This is a catalysis-oxidation technology combing 'surface filtration' perfectly with 'catalytic filtration' functions.
