The possibility and prospect of the use of eucalyptus wood were analysed, this paper summarized results of the selective breeding of eucalyptus wood species ： Eucalyptus grandis and its clones A3, A4, A6, A13, A14,and A15 were the eucalyptus wood timber oriented cultivation fine varieties in Fujian, and it analysed the economic and ecological benefit of large -diameter timber cultivation of eucalyptus.
