重“输入”,更要重“输出”——提高英语运用能力的对策

本文以美国经典喜剧《办公室》片段为例,探讨在采用看电影学英语这一手段进行英语教学过程中,如何通过配对练习、角色扮演、个人报告等方式,切实有效地提高学生的英语说、写能力。强化英语教学中的"输出"环节,可以达到学以致用的目的。从而说明了,看电影、电视剧学英语,既要重"输入",即听和读环节,更应该重视说和写,即"输出"环节。

The objective of this article is to illustrate the importance of ＂output＂— speaking and writing,in teaching English via watching movies,taking some classical clips from ＂The Office＂,the American TV series as examples.In order to improve students＇ comprehensive English ability effectively,pair work,role-play and oral presentation are introduced and explained in detail.The author calls for teachers to attach greater awareness and emphasis to the output of language as well as the input of language ＂listening and reading＂ in the process of teaching.
