Extensive Reading is one of the most important courses for English majors,but it is also one of the most difficult courses for teachers.Many teachers teach extensive reading in the way they teach intensive reading,thus losing the significance of teaching extensive reading.In order to deal with this problem,the paper analyzes the differences and relationship between extensive reading and intensive reading and the problems that need to be paid attention to,which may be helpful to both the teachers and the students.
