How to Cultivate the Students' Consciousness of Intercultural Communication in College English Teaching

高职英语教学中必须注重培养学生的跨文化意识,努力造就具有英语综合应用能力和跨文化交际能力的复合型人才。本文从高职英语教学的实际出发,论述了教师如何在课堂中运用多种教学形式及方法,帮助学生增加对以英语为母语的国家的了解,增强对文化差异的敏感性,培养跨文化意识,进而提高学生的英语实际运用能力。

College English teaching should focus on cultivating the students’ consciousness of intercultural communication so as to bring up talents with English language proficiency and intercultural communicating skills.Considering the situation of college English teaching at present,the thesis focuses on the teachers’ usage of different teaching styles and methods,which aim to help the students have a better understanding of English speaking countries,become more sensitive of the cultural differences,get a clearer idea of intercultural communication,finally promote the English language proficiency.
