摘要
本研究调查了中国英语学习者的民族认同状况,英语学习对民族认同的影响以及造成这些影响的原因。调查表明:总体上,中国英语学习者母语认同较高,但比以往下降了很多。同时,中国学生主要是在社会文化层面上对中国文化认同较低,其次才是物质层面和精神层面。这一结果与英语教学内容、学习动机和学习时间有关。
This research investigates the national recognition of China's English learners through English learning.It is shown that generally China's English learners have a high recognition of their native language,which goes down somehow in comparison with the previous one.Most of the Chinese students have a low recognition of Chinese social culture followed by that of material and spiritual aspects.It is assumed that the findings are related to English teaching contents,learning motives and study time.
