湖北郧县中台子遗址发掘报告

An Excavation Report of Zhongtaizi Site in Yun County,Hubei Province

中台子遗址地处鄂西北与四川、陕西的交汇地带。遗址包含新石器时期的仰韶文化、屈家岭文化、石家河文化、周文化以及唐代遗存,其新石器时期文化既有中原文化特征又有江汉地区文化因素,反映出汉水中上游文化与周边文化相互渗透、相互交融,发展成具有一种区域文化特征的地方文化。其周文化面貌属于楚文化范畴,文化因素乃承袭中原周文化风格发展而来。鄂西北地区是楚文化早期形成的重要区域,随着楚文化势力的不断增强,逐渐向南扩张形成了典型的楚文化。中台子遗址出土的陶豆柄上"君市"陶文,很有可能是楚国封君"官市"上的一件流通商品,对于探讨楚国官市职能有重要的学术价值。

The site is located at the borders area of northwestern Hubei, Sichuan and Shanxi provinces. It yields cultural materials affiliated with Neolithic Yangshao, Qujialing and Shijiahe cultures, as well as Zhou Dynasty and Tang Dynasty. Artifacts of Neolithic cultures at this site bears characteris- tics prevailed in both Central Plain and Jianghan Region, which represents an indigenous regional cul- ture that was developed through interactions with the neighboring cultures in the Upper and Middle Han River regions. The Zhou Dynasty cultural aspect of this site inherited and developed from that in the Central Plain, it also belongs to the Chu Culture. As we known, the northwestern Hubei is a significant area in the formation of early Chu Culture. As its influence strengthens, it expanded southward and gradually formed into the typical Chu Culture. The word ＂君市Junshi＂ inscribed on the handle of pottery Dou （stemmed dish） excavated from the site possibly refers to the ＂official market＂ under controls of the Lord of Chu State. This is a great value towards the study of the functions of commecial markets in the Chu State.
