A Study on the Character "Zun尊"

包山楚简遣策部分255、256中有一个字共出现五次。此字上部从"网"、中部从"日"、下部从"廾"。学者们对此字的隶定基本一致。然而,对于此字的释读却存在着不同的意见。我们认为此字与郭店楚简《唐虞之道》简7中一个"尊"字形体吻合,因此将此字释为"尊"。可能是一种器物的名称。

There are different views on the character consists of the radical 网,日, and 廾. It was recorded five times in the 255^th and 256^th strips of the《Burial Goods Inventory》 in the Baoshan Bamboo Strips of Chu State. This paper figures out suggests that the character should be interpreted as the char- acter 尊, as same as the same character 尊 recorded in the 7th strip of Chapter Tang YuZhiDao （the Way of Yao and Shun） in the Guodian Bamboo Strip Texts of Chu State. This is probably a vessel name.
