A New Surface Tension Measurement System Based on Capillary Rise Method

摘要 基于毛细上升法,设计了一种新型的表面张力实验系统。利用CCD成像和图像处理技术,准确快速地测量毛细管内液柱高差。采用新实验系统,对R600a在273~343K温度区间内的表面张力进行了实验研究,结果表明,实验数据与NIST数据库和已发表文献数据相比,最大偏差不超过0.2mN·m^(-1),证实了实验系统的可靠性,可以用于液体表面张力的准确测量。 Based on the capillary rise method,a new surface tension measurement system was established.The altitude difference of liquid in the capillary was measured accurately with a CCD imaging method and image processing technique.The surface tension of R600a was investigated with the new system in the temperatures range between(273~343) K.The results show that the maximum deviation is better than 0.2 mN·m^(-1) compared to the experimental data form NIST and published literatures.And it confirmed that the experimental system was reliable and can be used for accurate measurement of liquid surface tension.
