摘要
结核分枝杆菌的PE和PPE家族成员在结核分枝杆菌基因组中约占8%。且PE和PPE多基凶家族为分枝杆菌属所独有,在其他细菌基因组并未发现类似的如此庞大的多基因家族。对其序列结构、表达和调控的初步研究表明其成员可能表达于细胞表面,参与病原体与宿主间的相互作用,并且可能和结核分枝杆菌等致病分枝杆菌的抗原变异相关。一些家族成员蛋白或多肽可以诱导机体对结核分枝杆菌保护性的细胞免疫反应,是候选疫苗的成份。对其家族成员的各种研究在各个实验室里已广泛展开,本文就其研究现状作一综述。
PE and PPE family members of Mycobacterium tuberculosis account for about 80/00 in the genome of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. PE and PPE muhigene family is unique to Mycobacterium, and such a large number of similar muhigene family has not been found in other bacterial genomes. The preliminary researches about their sequence structure, expression and regulation show that the members may be expressed on the cell surface,involved in the interaction between pathogen and host,and related to antigenic variation of pathogenic mycobacteria such as Mycohacterium tuberculosis. The protein or peptide of some family members can induce protective cellular immune response against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and is an element of candidate vaccines. Various studies of their family members have been widely developed in various laboratories. This article reviews the research status about it.
