摘要
英语句法是学好英语的前提之一,中小学英语教师的句法能力决定着学习者英语技能的发展。文章对晋南地区60名中小学英语教师和准英语教师进行了英语句法的测试,研究发现受测者对句法基本知识了解不够系统;对英汉两种句法体系中简单句与并列句、复合句、时态、语态、语气、非谓语动词、一致性、倒装句知识掌握不够扎实。该研究还分析了造成以上问题的原因,并提出解决中小学英语教师句法问题的建议,希望对提高师范英语专业句法教学有所启示。
English syntax is the prerequisite to learn English well,the syntactic ability of middle and primary school English teachers decides the development of learners' English skills.The study focused on English syntax tests of 60 middle and primary school English teachers and teacher trainees in south Shanxi,finding out the subjects didn't understand the basic knowledge of syntax systematically;In both English and Chinese syntactic system,they didn't know enough with simple sentences,compound sentences,complex sentences,tenses,voices,moods,non-predicate verbs,coherence,and inversion.The study also analyzed the reasons of the caused problems,proposing suggestions for solving the syntax problems,so as to improve the syntactic teaching for normal English majors.
