厚皮甜瓜新品种海蜜6号的选育

Breeding of Melon Hybrid Variety——Haimi No.6

海蜜6号是海门市农业科学研究所选育的早熟光皮杂交一代厚度甜瓜新品种。其父、母本是优良自交系M(Y0229-205-48)和N(Y0106-205-37)。2007-2008年参加国家甜瓜区域试验、生产试验。主要特征特性:早熟,果实发育期约35d。植株生长势强,茎粗叶大。果实圆球形,果皮黄白色、光洁;果肉浅绿色,肉厚4.0cm左右,中心可溶性固形物15%左右,边部10%,肉质韧,风味好,耐贮运;单果质量1.4kg,667m2产量2000～3000kg。经田间鉴定,该品种耐湿,抗病性好。适合华东、华北、海南等地保护地栽培。

Haimi No.6 is a F1 hybrid melon developed by crossing two elite inbred lines M（Y0229-205-48）and N（Y0106-205-37）.Haimi No.6 was tested in national melon variety trials in 2007-2008.The total growing period is about 105 days and the fruit development period is about 35 days.The fruit is globe with white smooth skin.The flesh is green with thickness of 4.0 cm and soluble solid content of 10%-15%.The average fruit weight is about 1.4 kg with good storage and shipping ability.667 m2 yield is 2 000-3 000 kg.Haimi No.6 is resistance to diseases.It is suitable for protected cultivation in East and North China and Hainan province.
