摘要
美国华裔作家谭恩美在其小说《喜福会》中选择母女关系作为故事的重要线索,表现母女之间存在的矛盾。文章分析这种矛盾产生的由来、其深层根源和解决的过程,以揭示华裔家庭面临的困扰,暗示出母女间的理解和沟通是解决这些困扰的一种途径。
Reflecting their conflicts,the relations between Chinese immigrant mothers and American born daughters are the important theme of Amy Tan＇s novel,The Joy Luck Club.The essay analyzes the reasons and the solving of their conflicts to show the trouble in front of Chinese immigrant families indicating comprehension is one way to solve this problem.
