摘要
大学英语教师的课堂用语不仅是传递知识的工具,也是维系和调节师生关系的纽带。教师在课堂上使用什么样的语言影响学生参与课堂教学的积极性。文章试图从语用学的角度探讨模糊限制语对大学英语教师课堂用语的启发意义,以期能激发学生参与课堂互动,产生良好的教学效果。
Hedges are broadly used by the groups of individuals in order to achieve some communicative intentions.College English teachers will make their students actively participate in classroom interaction if they can use some hedges properly.By analyzing the significance of pragmatic hedges,this paper aims to arouse college English teachers'awareness in applying classroom language,and benefit teachers from using some hedges in their classroom English to improve their teaching.
