In Xianfeng and early days of Tongzhi of the Qing dynasty,Hong Yu-shu was the only one of the Hui ethnic group in army forces of Taiwan.In his term,Taiwan experienced the longest anti-Qing fight Chao-chun anti-qing fight.He maintained the central government rule of Taiwan,pushed forward the exploration and modern construction of Taiwan,practiced enlightened religious policy,kept the interests of different religions,resolve the contradiction of various immigrant groups and promoted the harmony and stability of Taiwan.
