延宕与死亡是《哈姆雷特》与《喧哗与骚动》两部悲剧共有的故事主线。一方面,二者之间在各自主人公个体的悲剧意义阐发中呈现一定的因果关系;另一方面,二者作为整体在与哈姆雷特和昆丁两个不同的生命个体结合时,因为各自的色彩不同,呈现出了对立的价值取向和悲剧基调。
