论劳伦斯的“血性意识”

"血性意识"是英国作家D.H劳伦斯的基本性观念。其主要涵义是反对理性对性爱的干涉,追求灵肉和谐结合、"星式均衡"的男女两性关系。劳伦斯从性这一特殊角度批判了资本主义工业文明对人性的扭曲,并探索建立自由健康的男女两性关系。但是劳伦斯所谈的灵肉合一,星式均衡是抽象的,没有触及到资本主义社会的本质,因而批判是乏力的。而他大量赤裸裸的性描写则是非常具体的,有很大的负面作用。特别是他想通过改善男女关系进而改良社会,更是本末倒置。

＂The Consciousness of Courage and Uprightness＂ is the basic concept of D. H Lawrence, the British writer. It mainly expresses the objection to rational interferences to love affairs and the pursuance of harmonious combination of minds and bodies, balanced relation between male and female persons. From the viewpoint of humane nature, Lawrence criticized the twists caused by capitalist industrial civilization and tried to probe into free and healthy sexual relations. But what he talked was just abstract and his criticism was too weak to touch the core of capitalist society. He wrote a lot of sexual acts which would cause harmful effects. He wanted to improve the society by way of the improvement of sexual relations which was just like putting the cart before the horse.
