贵州省委、省人民政府《关于加快城镇化进程促进城乡协调发展的意见》中指出,加快贵州省城镇化进程、促进城乡协调发展,是构建"和谐贵州"、实现经济社会发展历史性跨越、全面建设小康社会的重大战略问题,事关全局,事关长远,事关全省各族人民的根本利益。贵州要因地制宜加快城镇化进程。

As pointed out by the joint GuiZhou Provincial Party Committee and provincial government proposal： ＂Coordinated Efforts to Expedite Rural Urbanization＂, acceleration of urbanization and promotion of coordinated development between cities and rural is vital in building ＂Harmonious GuiZhou＂. A successful outcome will help GuiZhou achieve historical economic and social prosperity. Thus, we need to double our efforts.
