作为后现代主义的典型理念,德里达的解构主义颠覆了逻各斯(logos)中心主义,主张打破二元对立形而上学的思维方式。在《法国中尉的女人》中,福尔斯不再是全知全能的的作者,而是邀请读者涉入到虚构的故事中来,打破了作者与读者的二元对立。作为后现代主义小说的代表人物,萨拉的主体性解构了维多利亚时代的男性话语权,她在寻求自我解脱和自由的过程中也帮助查尔斯得到了心灵的自由。
As the typical concept of post-modernism,Derrida's deconstruction philosophy subverts the logos-centered ideology and claims to break the metaphysics thinking mode of binary opposition.In The French Lieutenant's Woman,John Fowles is no longer the omniscient writer.Rather,he invites the readers to be involved in the story and the binary opposition between writer and reader is broken.Sarah is one of the typical characters in post-modern novels,and her existence deconstructs the male discourse rights.She helps Charles to find spiritual freedom when she is freeing herself.
