The Value of the Series of Theory of Painting,the Revised Edition

于安澜先生编撰的《画论丛刊》一书向以重版本、精校勘而著称。张自然先生在原书基础上重新校订,全式标点的使用及校记处理方式的变动,极大程度地方面了当今青年读者;文字校勘上,改讹文,补脱文,乙倒文,存异文,更接近各书原貌。

The Series of Theory of Painting compiled by Yu An-lan has always been known for its republications and fine emendations.Mr.Zhang Zi-ran revised the original.The new edition employs full-form punctuations and modifies emending excursus,which makes it greatly convenient for young readers.With regard to the character collation,wrong characters have been corrected,missing characters supplemented,incorrect word order rearranged,and alternate script preserved,so that the revised edition is more approximate to what the series was.
