摘要
海南岛为我国的第二大岛， 地理位置独特， 有丰富的湿地类型及资源。本文用遥感技术， 把海南岛的湿地分为４ 个大类， ２０ 个类型。海南岛以近岸及海岸湿地为主， 占海南湿地总面积的５０ ％ ， 其中的浅海水域占海南湿地总面积的２５ ％ 。海南的珊瑚礁湿地、红树林湿地在全国同类湿地中发育最好。本文还对海南岛湿地的生物多样性进行了描述及概括。
Hainan island, the second largest island in China, is located at 18°09′～20°11′ N and 108°36′～111°03′ E, covering an area of 33 920 km 2. The island has various types of wetland, with rich tropical biodiversity and distinctive weather conditions. According to the remote sensing survey there are about 0 5×10 6 ha of wetland in Hainan,which can be divided into 4 types,and 20 subtypes.The area of coastal marine wetland accounts for 50% of the total wetland area in Hainan. The coral reef and mangrove wetlands of the island are the best developed ones in China. There are 5 886 ha of mangrove forestry in China, in which 4 896 ha are in Hainan.Hainan has 27 species of mangrove plants, as compared with 29 species in China. The status of biodiversity of the wetland in Hainan island is described in detail.
