This article introduces the ophthalmological examination methods of laboratory dogs and monkeys,which includes proper selection of immobilization modes according to species of animal,observation of the eye appearance,anterior segment examination with slit-lamp,posterior segment examination with ophthalmoscope after mydriasis,and matters needing attention during the examination.
