The software Detection and Feature Extraction（DFX） is an important part of the station Processing in the Automatic Processing.The DFX applications also reside in the network processing,post-location processing,and interactive processing.DFX provides a general-purpose signal processing environment.It has strong integration capability with which the seismic researcher access to all of the functionality of DFX,such as database access and waveform quality control,at last provides a more realistic environment for algorithm evaluation.A general process is developed for integrating a new algorithm into DFX.A Fibonacci sequence algorithm is successfully integrated into DFX to verify the availability of the integration process.
