用Sekanina 等的方法和小波处理方法分别对1997 年3 月3 日至5 日在紫金山天文台行星室观测得到的海尔- 波普彗星的近核现象CCD 图像加以增强处理和分析比较,明显地从CCD 图像还原出壳层(shell) 和喷流(jet) 结构,结果表明小波处理方法比Sekanina
Several methods of computer processing were used to enhance comet's near nucleus images. Larson and Sekanina have put forward their method to enhance the jets and shells of Comet Halley. In recent years, the wavelet analysis method has also been used in the processing of comet's images . By these methods,a comet's near nucleus phenomena, such as jets and shells, can be displayed clearly. The authors used these methods to enhance the CCD images of Comet Hale-Bopp, which were taken with the 40cm telescope of Purple Mountain Observatory. From these images of the comet on March 3 and 4, two shells and jets on northwest of the nucleus can be seen more clearly. It seems that the results given by the wavelet analysis are better than those by Sakanina's method for smaller fields.
