鼓楼是侗族文化中最具代表性的建筑之一,它是侗族人民智慧的结晶,也是我国民族文化中的瑰宝。侗族鼓楼造型独特,装饰精美,在侗族人民社会生活中具有非常重要的地位。随着社会的不断发展,侗族鼓楼也具有了远远超过其初始意义的多重内涵。同时,随着村寨的不断扩大和社会的进步,鼓楼的功能也在不断增加和变化。

Drum Tower is one of the most representative buildings in the Dong culture.It is the Dong people＇s wisdom,is also the treasure of our national culture.These drum towers have unique design and beautiful decoration.They have an important position in the Dong people＇s social life.With the continuous development of society,Drum Tower has multiple connotations which are far beyond its initial meaning.Meanwhile,with the continuous expansion of the village and social progress,the functions of the Drum Tower are also growing and changing.This paper analyzes the significance of the Drum Tower,describes the cultural connotation of the Drum Tower by combining the inspection experience in the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture.And through the above analysis,it explains the important function of the Drum Tower.
