摘要
文章运用图形-背景理论,以构型为基础的认知视角出发,对英语附加疑问句所蕴涵的结构单位之间的认知关系进行分析。结果发现附加疑问句的构成部分之间具有相同的概念化基础,即图形-背景认知图式。附加疑问句是依靠图形-背景模式的复式现实化(图形-背景图式的即时共用)产生的。但该认知图示在两个部分中的现实化方式不同。陈述部分现实化为非标记性小句;疑问部分现实化为标记性小句。附加疑问句的认知"聚焦"是通过该图式的复式现实化实现的。
This paper attempts to explore the cognitive management of tag question in English on the basis of the Figure-Ground theory.To interpret the cognitive relationship between components of tag question,a construction perspective is initiated.It finds that Figure-Ground scheme serves as the common conceptual basis between components of tag questions.Tag question is motivated by double realizations of this scheme in different manners.Namely,the statement is realized as an unmarked clause while the question is realized as a marked clause.The interactive overlapping of this scheme in its two realizations drives home the prominence of tag question.
