蒙古垂黄榆是蒙古黄榆优良的形态变异类型,已通过吉林省林木品种委员会审定。突出优点是抗寒、抗旱性强,且抵抗病虫害,尤其可抵抗榆紫金花虫、榆小蠹危害。可在东北大部分地区、华北地区和西北部分地区扩大引种栽培。

Ulmus macrocarpa vat. mongolica is a good morphological variety of U. macrocarpa, and had been certified by the Tree Variety Authorization Committee of Jilin Province. The advantages of this variety are high abilities of cold - resistance, drought - resistance, and pest - resistance, especially for the Ambrostoma quadriimpress um, and Scolytus multistriatus. U. macrocarpa var. mongolica can be introduced to most region of northeast, north and northwest of China.
