Trace to the source of the Wen Zong Cabinet in Zhenjiang

文宗阁是以藏《四库全书》而闻名天下,在中国古代藏书史上占有重要的一席之地。可惜,此楼存世不到百年即遭兵燹,留下的史料不多。可从文宗阁题名的内涵、入藏书籍的考证、日常管理的模式、被毁后呼吁重建的过程等方面梳理其来龙去脉。

The Wen Zong cabinet is well-known all over the world for collection of The Si Ku Quan Shu.It is of great significance in the history of Chinese ancient book collections.Unfortunately,the Wen Zong Cabinet existed for not more than a hundred years and then was destroyed in the war.Historic materials left about the Cabinet are so limited that few people know about its history.A sequence of events,causes and effects about the Won Zong Cabinet can be figured out from the connotation of its name,the textual research into its book collections,the model of daily management and the whole process of appealing for reconstruction.
