The linearizable problem of first-order non-linear partial differential equations with five dependent vari- ables is discussed according to Hodograph transformations,which mainly interchange the roles of independent variables and dependent variables. It is found that these Hodograph transformations can be applied to linearize both genuinely non-linear systems and quasi-linear systems.
