中西思维方式差异在句子结构上的反映与长句的翻译

思维和语言紧密相关。本文对比分析了中西思维方式的差异及在汉英句子结构上的表现,进而将此对比分析结果应用于汉英长句翻译之中,探讨了转换句子结构、拆句和并句等翻译长句的一些方法。

Starting from the discussion of the difference between Chinese and western thought patterns,this paper mainly focused on the contrastive study of the reflections of the two thought patterns on the sentence structure in each language.The result of such contrastive study provided inspiration for translation of long sentences by offering some techniques on how to do translation well in accordance with the Chinese and western thought pattern differences,including＂conversion＂,＂division＂,＂combination＂and so on.
