域外行旅与晚清文学变革

Overseas Journey and Literature Revolution of Late Qing Dynasty:The Modern Transformation of Classical Literature from Overseas Pilgrimages

长期以来,学界惯于将近代文学变革的原因归结于传统文学新质的萌生以及"西学东渐"等外力的推动,却未曾关注过域外行旅与文学变革的关联。漂洋过海的异域行旅打破原有的时空局限,旅行者的视域愈加广阔,以往的山水田园、亭台楼阁,摇身一变为亘古未见的异邦文明和异域情调。叙述对象的改变必然带来表达方式的革新,考察近代文学变革的历程,晚清国人域外行旅的足迹值得观照。

For a long time the academic community has attributed the revolution of modern literature to the new initiation of traditional literature and invasion of western culture,but has never paid attention to the connections between space journey and literature revolution.With the renovation of transportation,it is possible to break the original limitation of time and space,and to broaden the travelers＇ horizon.The former scenery and elegant buildings have changed to the civilization and exotic atmosphere of foreign countries.The transformation of narrative objects has brought about the renovation of presentation.In fact from the beginning of modern literature revolution,the footprint of people in the late Qing Dynasty to the western countries has become what should be paid much attention to.
