摘要
概念隐喻是理解和产生概念的一种认知方式。具有无意识性的隐喻在英语教学中可以是有意识的。概念隐喻机制的建构可促进学习者概念系统建构的完善,提高隐喻思维能力,从而准确理解和表达语言。笔者探讨了相关基本概念域元素以丰富源域和目标域内容,学习包含概念隐喻要素的相关语言形式以促进映射进行等概念隐喻机制建构的有效途径。
Conceptual metaphor is a cognitive way to understand and produce a concept.Conceptual metaphor mechanism,characterized by unconsciousness,in English language teaching and learning,can be consciously built to improve learners' conceptual metaphor system and metaphorical thinking,which could consequently lead to more proper understanding and use of the language.Possible approaches of building conceptual metaphor mechanism include equipping the learners with the basic elements for the source and target domains and exposing the learners to English language forms.
