Third-person Zero Anaphora in Chinese: A Comparison Between Naturally-occurring Conversation and Scripted Conversation

自然会话与戏剧、影视剧作品中经准备的会话的区别是话语分析领域一个重要的研究课题,我们把后者称为剧作会话。本研究以Givón提出的3个话语测量指标为研究框架,对比分析第三人称零形回指在汉语自然会话与剧作会话两种语料中的分布,并在此基础上探讨两种会话的异同。

The difference between naturally-occurring conversation and the planned conversation in drama,movie and TV program is an important research subject in the field of discourse analysis.The latter type of conversation is termed 'scripted conversation' in this paper.Within the framework of the three discourse-measurement indexes proposed by Givón(1983),this paper compares the distribution of third-person zero anaphora in the naturally-occurring conversation and the scripted conversation,which provides a basis for the description of the differences as well as the similarities between the two types of conversation.
