The start of intangible cultural heritage protection work brings major development opportunities for traditional sports. This paper analyzes Hangzhou traditional sports culture inheritance and protection status in the intangible cultural heritage perspective, the paper points out that the government＇s policy direction is the fundamental guarantee of sustainable development of traditional sports, make full use of media tools for publicity is indispensable means of traditional sports development, and social interaction and combining with the local industry is a beneficial attempt to the development of traditional sports.
