主位推进的语篇功能及其对英语写作教学的启示 被引量:1

摘要 文章从三个方面探讨了主位推进的语篇功能:语篇主题作为共同主位将语篇各部分联系在一起;主位推进过程中新旧信息的相互转化保证了语篇的衔接和连贯;而最佳主位的选择确保了所传达信息的可及性。将主位推进理论应用到英语写作教学中有助于提高学生的写作能力,首先,确立语篇主题为各段落句子提供一个共同主位;其次,选择好单个句子的主位,即信息和主位推进的起点;最后,选择相应的主位推进模式来组织语篇。 The paper discusses the textual function of theme progression from three aspects: a discourse topic as a common theme can make parts of the discourse form a whole,the conversion of new information into old information in theme progression makes the discourse cohesive and coherent and the choice of most appropriate theme guarantees the acceptability of intended information.The teaching of theme progression theory in EFL writing will help the students improve their writing ability: firstly,to establish a discourse topic and provide a common theme for parts of the discourse,secondly,choose an appropriate theme for every sentence and make the best starting point for information and theme progression,and thirdly,to organize the passage with corresponding mode of theme progression.
