摘要
"功能目的论"是德国功能派译论的核心理论,为翻译研究开辟了新视角。本文在目的论的框架内,根据上海世博会宣传资料翻译的要求和目的,运用Nord的翻译失误分析模式着重剖析上海世博会宣传资料英译中语用类和语言类的翻译失误,并指出这些失误主要是缘于译者缺少跨文化意识。译者在翻译过程中未充分考虑世博会对外推介的目的,未做到以目标语和目标受众为导向是造成误译的主要原因。
"Skopotheory" is the core theory of German Functional Approach.This paper uses Nord's translation error analysis model to analyze the pragmatic and linguistic translation errors of the publicity materials,and points out that these errors mainly owes to the lack of cross-cultural awareness.The main cause of translation errors is due to translators who have not full considered the purpose of publicity translation of the Shanghai Expo,and did not oriented to the target language and the target audience.
