科学技术的高度发达是现代工业社会的重要特征,它给社会带来了物质繁荣,推动了文明的发展,但也给发达的工业社会带来了负面影响。马尔库塞在他的著作《单向度的人》中就科学技术对人的负面影响进行了系统阐述,他认为人被科学技术剥夺了第二个向度——否定和批判的功能,成为了单向度的人。科学技术使人成了现代工业文明驯服的奴隶,人们迷失了自己的真实需求、丧失了真正的自由、放弃了真正的幸福。马尔库塞的理论对当代中国社会的发展具有重要的现实意义。

It is the important characteristic that the science and technology be high developed in modern industrial society.Science and technology not only promote material to be prosperous,and promote civilization to develop,but also take negative effect to industrial society.Marcuse deeply analyzed the negative effect which come from science and technology in his book ＂One Dimensional Man＂.He think that science and technology deprive the second dimension—refusal and criticism function from man,so man turn to one mensional man.Science and technology make man change to slave yield to modern industrial civilization.Man lost the real need,real liberty,and abandon the real happiness.Marcuse＇s theory is significant to modern China society.
