摘要
以前人对动机的研究理论为根据,笔者对652名高等职业学生英语学习的动机做了调查,并就不同动机做了比较和分析。结果表明,学生普遍认为其英语学习的动机属于工具型。研究结果对高职学生英语教学有一定的启示。
The survey was conducted following the previous theory of previous researchers.The data are collected from 652 junior college students.This paper first presents in rather detail the project of a survey on the problems existing in the motives of junior college students in English learning.It also makes comparisons among different motives and analyses these aspects.Detailed analysis of the data had led to the following thing: the students believe their motivation of English learning belongs to the instrumental one.The research results yield some implications for EFL classroom teaching in the Chinese context.
