A Study on the Historical Process of the Urbanization in Western Cities in China

文章对我国西部地区城市化进程的两个历史发展阶段进行了梳理和分析,对西部地区城市化滞后性、差异性和封闭性现状进行了描述和剖析,从而进一步阐明西部地区城市化可持续协调发展所面临两个层次的挑战:自然环境条件恶劣、自然生态环境脆弱、交通通信基础设备落后等浅层次挑战;城市化动力机制不明晰、生态环境承受压力大、生态环境质量低等深层次挑战。

This paper sorts out and analyzes the two historical stages of the urbanization in western China,describes and analyzes the current hysteresis,otherness and closure of the urbanization in western China,so as to further clarify two levels of challenges faced by the sustainable development of the urbanization in the western region.On this basis,the exploration of new methods for the study of the dynamic mechanism of urbanization will be conducive to formulating a scientific and rational policy system to promote the sustainable and harmonious urbanization in western China.
