Comparison was made between intelligent grid and traditional grid.Introduction was made to the definitions of intelligentgrid and its main features.Discussion was made on advanced metering infrastructure,distribution operation,transmission operation and asset management etc key technology system to build the intelligent grid.It is pointed out that intelligent grid equipment,connection of distributed energy and mutual power supply technology are the main study direction of China in building strong intelligent grid.
