The Wu culture in the area of the Three Gorges can date back to Daixi culture which existed 6, 400 years ago. Wuxian country and Wuzhi country, both of which were dependent on salt, are the famous native cultures in the area of the Three Gorges. Ten wizard monks such as Wu Xian and Wu Ban, who went to mount Wu to collect medicines and they improved the skill of Wu salt and the skill of cinnabar exploitation, are the earliest transmitters of Chinese medicine. The Eight Diagrams invented by the wizards promoted the process of world civilization.
