摘要
《诗经》叠词是融形美,音美和意美为一体的绝佳的语言艺术。朴实中透着灵动,诗意盎然。首先从汉英对比角度对汉英叠词进行了较系统、全面的研究,同时提供了若干较有代表性的例子,以供赏析。从《诗经》中叠词的具体特征出发,详细探讨了其翻译方法,将其分为两类:普通叠词的翻译和文化叠词的翻译,并提出了各自具体的翻译方法。
Reduplicative words in the Book of Songs are said to be perfect unity of naturalness and artistry.The paper focuses on the respective ways of reduplicative words in Chinese and English language and furnishes some typical examples for readers to appreciate.Then in the light of culture-connotation in the figure of reduplicative words,their translation is roughly divided into two categories.And some effective translation methods are given with some apt examples respectively.It establishes that a range of translation strategies employed in translating reduplicative words in the Book of Songs both aim to be faithful to the Chinese reduplicative words.
